About the Artist

Susan Curry is a native Hoosier, who graduated from Indiana University in 1975 with degrees in English Literature and Music Theory.

Artist Statement

Porcelain is a medium that can give form to any flight of the imagination. My imagination is influenced by the folk tales collected by Andrew Lang and Charles Perrault, in which ordinary objects can have magical properties and histories that only become apparent in the right hands.
